All Rooms
Vacuum carpets, rugs, and stairs, including all edges. Clean underneath small area rugs. Vacuum couches and chairs. Periodically flip cushions if asked. Wash/Mop all floors. Remove cobwebs. Dust blinds, window sills, lamps, light fixtures, furniture, and woodwork. Dust picture frames, knick-knacks, shelves, and baseboards within reach. Clean glass surfaces (mirrors, pictures). Make beds and wash bed linens (if included). Empty and clean/wash ashtrays and wastebaskets and replace trash bags. Tidy rooms.
Kitchen
Clean appliances, counters, cabinets, table and chairs. Clean, scrub and sanitize sinks and faucets. Clean and sanitize countertops and backsplashes. Clean the range top, clean under stove top, and clean refrigerator top and exterior. Clean microwave oven inside and out including turntable. Wash floors. Clean, dry, and shine all appliance surfaces, range hood, and sink. Clean stove drip pans, burner grates, and control knobs.
Bathrooms
Clean, scrub, and sanitize showers, bathtubs, and sinks. Clean and sanitize vanities, backsplashes, and toilets including bowl, seat, lid, tank, and base. Clean mirrors. Polish chrome. Scrub floors and tile walls. Deodorize. Sanitize cabinet fronts. Clean all shelves, fixtures, and items on vanity.
Green House Cleaning pricing details
We charge $35/hr per cleaner, plus a nominal service fee per visit depending on location and project scope. This helps to cover our cleaners’ travel time. We are happy to provide a free estimate, but it’s hard to know exactly how long the process will take until we dig in and start cleaning your home. Thus, the estimated time could skew in either direction depending on clutter, frequency, etc. However, we will communicate with you throughout if we think it will take longer.
Cleans can be monthly (every 4 weeks), bi-weekly, or weekly. The more frequently we clean, the fewer hours we tend to spend per cleaning. (Most of our customers prefer bi-weekly, which seems to be a nice balance of cost savings and the ability to keep your home well maintained.) The first clean will generally cost more as we detail-clean your home.
Our cleaners are highly trained professionals who work quickly and effectively. You’ll be surprised by how much we can get done in a few hours. Generally, most average-sized homes take anywhere from 4-6 hours to effectively clean.
